Remarks – Takehiro is running a number of new items on his MTX-5 for this race. The new chassis is made of harder material using a different supplier making it stiffer while removing the 2nd hole under the engine has also stiffened up the rear. A new one piece engine block is also being used, something that was available for the MTX4 but which has now been adapted for the new car. Finally softer spur gears have been made to prevent some small stripping problems that had occurred under certain conditions previously.
