Remarks – Multiple Worlds finalist Josh Wheeler is running a pretty standard example of the Xray XT9. One key difference on the OS Speed powered truck is the new rear double chassis stiffener which is set to become a standard feature on future kits.

Remarks – Reigning US National Champion Adam Drake is running a pretty standard version of the 8ight 3.0 buggy here in Texas. To obtain the maximum performance he is using some Lunsford titanium bits such as turnbuckles and shocks mounts, as well as a handful of small TLR aluminium hop-ups meant to make the car stronger and more reliable in the super hot conditions.

Remarks – Winner at last month’s warm up race, 2010 World Champion Cody King is back in Austin running what looks to be a pretty standard TKI III. While getting a closer look, though, it comes to attention the use of many lightweight parts that make the buggy really light: titanium turnbuckles, aluminium suspension balls and shock mounts and a full set of titanium screws. The car also features a coloured radio tray, using yellow base parts with black tops.

Remarks – The defending champion in the class, here at the Thornill Racing Circuit Ty is running a production version of his very own “Tessmann Edition” D8T from Hot Bodies. In addition to that, his truck features a brand new molded radio tray that was designed to suit all the D8 platforms. The car is also equipped with a full set of Lunsford titanium screws.
