Remarks – Robert is running a ‘standard’ MBX8 here in Perth with the only alteration Mugen have for the car being a prototype rear wing mount. Positioning the wing more forward in the car and also higher, the 2012 World Champion said it is designed to make the car ‘rotate a little more’. Robert is unsure if the mount is something Mugen plan to release, saying it was created specifically for the Worlds track.

Having teamed up with Radbody to bring you coverage of the 1:12 World Championships from Florida last year, Red RC are excited to partner up with the US based body shell producer again and travel state side once more for the IFMAR World Championship for Electric Touring Car. From November 5-10th the 12th running of IFMAR’s ISTC World Championship will take place at Finishline RC Raceway in Bakersfield, California, and we will be there to see how the title battle unfolds. Having reported on Davide Ongaro’s history making three in a row at the 1:8 Offroad Worlds in Spain recently, we are excited to see if back to back ISTC World Champion Bruno Coelho can emulated that achievement. We are also pleased to welcome servo manufacturer PowerHD onboard as a partner of the coverage.
