Akio is running the first production example of the new upcoming TC10/4 kit release from Axon with eSIC being the first time Akio has got to race the Japanese manufacturers final iteration of its latest touring car.

Red RC is excited to be making the trip to beautiful Singapore to cover for the first time the annual Electric Singapore International Challenge (eSIC). Getting a new mid-year date of July 12-13 for 2025, the race is the brainchild of top Singapore touring car racer Nicholas Lee and Chhua Jookiah, the pairing having the goal of bringing top level international competition to their country. Despite this only being the third edition, eSIC has already achieved its goal and is now established as one of Asia’s leading annual onroad races. Racing at the Marine Parade Radio Control Modellers Club track, the event has attracted official team entries from Mugen Seiki, Infinity, Awesomatix, Yokomo, ARC and Xpress in the first two years and now in 2025 adds both Axon and Xray in terms of visiting factory drivers. With Ronald Volker unable to make the trip to eSIC this year, the former World Champion having won the first two encounters, there will be a new champion crowned in the small island country on Sunday evening with two World Champions, Alexander Hagberg and Atsushi Hara among the star international challengers.
