Running Raptors 2026 car, kits due for release in February, Alessio’s GT features a flat chassis to reflect the new IFMAR rule change that came in after his World Championship win in Chile. Other updates for 2026 include a new shock tower, new shock positions, and a new front bumper for the flat chassis.

Having ended our 2025 world travels in China at the FEMCA Asia Touring Car Championships, we are kicking off our 2026 race coverage by returning to the amazing Hongyu GDC track in Foshan, China, for the Asia Nitro Party.

The organisers have brought together a stacked international entry for the first running of this nitro onroad event. These include World Champion Naoto Matsukura from Infinity, Serpent’s 2025 1:8 Onroad Worlds’ Top Qualifier Andrea Catanzani, double reigning IFMAR 1:8 GT World Champion Alessio Mazzeo, European GT Champion Natanaele Senesi, Xray’s Italian young gun Filippo Domanin, O.S. Speed’s multiple World Championship finalist Sinnosuke Yokoyama and Genius Racing’s very experienced Bernard-Alain Arnaldi.

With Hongyu GDC aiming to build the Asia Nitro Party into a major annual event on the international nitro racing calendar, Red RC’s coverage of the race will start Friday (Jan 23rd) and continue for the weekend with the crowning of the inaugural Asia Nitro Party Champion on Sunday.
