Yokomo’s Team Manager for Asia and Australia, Antoni’s SO3.0 is fitted with the shorter chassis from the SO2.0 to adapt it to the characteristics of the Hills RC Off Road dirt track. It was also running a 4-gear gearbox. Additionally the buggy was also fitted with a Yokomo 69-gram weight plate.

Having just covered the 1:8 GT World Championships in Chile, Red RC is on the opposite side of the world now for the third of our IFMAR World Championship tour stops of 2025 to see who will become the latest 1:10 Offroad World Champions. The 40th edition of the race that awards the greatest accolade in our sport, the best in the World have descended on Sydney, Australia for this highly anticipated old school ‘dirt track’ battle.

Racing on the beautifully presented Hills Off Road RC track in Castle Hills. our coverage of how these World Championships unfold has been made possible thanks to US body shell producer Radbody.

With Monday, Sept 29th, registration and tyre prep day, the first of the action gets underway on Tuesday, Sept 30th, with practice before we crown a new 2WD World Champion on Thursday, Oct 2nd. With a break from action on Friday, Oct 3rd, we then get back to business with the 4WD action from Saturday, Oct 4th, to Monday, Oct 6th, when we will see if Davide Ongaro can retain the title he won indoors in Arizona 2-years ago.
